the purpose of this project was to show off my possibilities for studio-car lighting. i wanted to play around with shaders, lighting and rendersetups.it’s my first expansive vray test in maya. the model is from evermotion and imported from 3d-max in obj format.
so i started from scratch with an lambert1 on it. the whole lighting and shading i have done by myself. for this first test, i havn’t used pass-rendering. i only used some masks for separating in compositing.
the original, slightly modified rendering in post, looked like this:
due to the rendered masks i easyly played around in post and create variations like this in seconds.
